According to the the UK’s Daily Mail, the Duchess of Cambridge was the center of attention at her first state dinner which took place at Buckingham Palace.  Held in honor of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Kate sat at the main table with Her Majesty herself, Queen Elizabeth II.

Royal watchers everywhere were waiting to see if the Duchess would wear her tiara for this very special occasion and, in true form, she did not disappoint.  Kate wore the delicate Papyrus tiara, also known as the Lotus Flower, which was once owned by the Queen Mother.  She wore diamond earrings that complimented the tiara beautifully.

The Duchess’ sartorial choice was perfection.  She chose a red bespoke gown by Jenny Packham.  Again, the Daily Mail reports that Ms. Packham is one of Kate’s go-to designer for official occasions.  Earlier this year, she wore a dress by Jenny Packham when photographed leaving the hospital after giving birth to Princess Charlotte.

Kate Middleton has established herself as a true Royal in every way: kind, gracious, strong.  The Queen see this and is grooming her for life as a Royal. It’s a life that we all cannot wait to witness.
