Mermaid Coral Beth Meet Jacksonville Beach's Own Mermaid!

Mermaid Coral Beth

Beth Sullivan is a professional mermaid who has always had the spirit of a mermaid in her heart.  With the mermaid name of Mermaid Coral Beth, she entertains as well as teaches in her recently-found role.

Mermaid Coral Beth

Beth is part of one of the world’s first freelance mermaid organizations called Mermaid Kariel.  It inspires children and creates one-of-a-kind shows for some of the world’s top resorts.  Beth is one of seven mermaids called “Mermaids on a Mission” who provide meaningful shows around the world.

Mermaid Coral Beth

How did Beth get started as a mermaid?  About a year ago, she met Mermaid Kariel though a mutual friend while doing some charity work.  There was instant chemistry as Beth has always been attracted to the mermaid lifestyle and is impassioned about helping others.  What kind of reaction does she get when she tells people that she’s a mermaid?  It’s generally something like, “Oh my goodness! That’s so cool!”

Mermaid Coral Beth

As a resident of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Beth gets to share about her city’s beautiful beaches when she travels.  She speaks of conservation and the importance of keeping beaches clean.  She wants to be seen not only as a entertainer, but also as someone who makes a difference.

A major part of Beth’s message can be found in Mermaid Kariel’s book “The Brave Mermaid”.  The book teaches children to share their talents and has an anti-bullying message.  Beth’s shares this message to children whenever she makes an appearance.
